Are you interested in joining the team?  If so then contact XtremeThings and let us know why you want to be a part of the team and what you can do to contribute.  Currently there are not many products offered on this website under the products page.  But XtremeThings can help you with your ideas and help you to get them out there if they are feasible.

This is fairly new to XtremeThings and the idea is that you can contribute to new products or ideas and in exchange you get help or other contributor's items at a reduced price for contributing.  This is not about making money for XtremeThings.  This is about helping you to perfect your idea and perhaps you can help myself or others develop our ideas in return.

If we -as a team -contribute to an idea that does become a product then the originator of the idea will share the largest portion of any proceeds.  Others who contribute will receive a percentage based upon their participation.  All work will be documented and the documented contribution will be public record so that there is no question or mistrust issues.  I have not determined how to calculate percentages based on level of contribution but as we come together as a team then this can be discussed with all members.

If you are a machinist, welder, fabricator, electronics genius, engine builder, CAD designer, graphics designer, engineer wannabee (like myself) or perhaps even a professional driver and if any of this sounds good to you then contact us and we can talk.  Let us know what you have skills for and how you can benefit the team.  Note that this is currently not a paid job.  There is no money for an employee payroll.  Your pay will be what you gain from others who contribute like yourself.  If at some point this idea does take off so that enough money can be generated then payroll will likely be implemented.  But you might just want to keep things this way if your ideas are good ones that earn you a healthy slice of the pie!

My intention is to keep this a friendly working team.  I have run into some very rude people on other websites who enjoy bullying and if you find entertainment in this area then please do not contact us because we do not have a place on our team for you.  This is about working together as a coherent team to produce items which were not previously available and to turn new ideas into ground-breaking products.

One idea to make this work might be to engineer custom parts for people with requests.  Over the years I have gotten many requests for custom design work.  But my lack of machines for machine work or top end welding equipment have been a set-back.  So if you are a welder or a machinist with machines of your own or access to machines you can use at your leisure then you do have a contribution that can earn you a slice!
