This is what a port exact matching template
looks like when placed against a stock KL31 head. This
shape and size is the goal for a KLZE port matched intake
manifold. A smooth transition from the cold air intake
fuel/air charge is desirable for more uniform distribution
throughout the combustion chamber
This is the same template against a stock
KL31 KLZE intake manifold. As you can see there is room
for improvement even in the KLZE manifold.
Again here is the template but against a
KL01/03 manifold commonly found on American spec 93-97 Mazda
626's, Probe GT's and Mazda MX6's. There is much
room for improvement here.
This is a very nice looking pair of KLZE
exact port matched KL01/03 intake runners. I even polish
the runners as far back in as my current tooling allows.

This is what a manifold looks like in prep for powdercoating.
Here is our KLZE ported KL01/03
manifold. This is the full contoured, ported, smoothed and
powdercoated version. This particular manifold sells for
$660 with "the works" (including manifold badge) but we also offer a
more basic powdercoated stock KL01/03
manifold for $240 plus S&H. The KLZE version would
be $140 more on either price.
